Service Technicians install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities. This position will work with experienced Service Technicians learning our business and our products. This position works independently or in small teams in a field service environment, and is a primary customer contact.

This position has the following requirements:

Strong mechanical aptitude

Uphold customer rapport by resolving concerns, answering questions and communicating with the customer

Ability to work outdoors, at heights, and lift up to 75 pounds

Drive a service truck, with a good driving record and passing a DOT drug test and physical

Adhering to codes, regulations, and safety standards

Job requirements:

High school education or equivalent

Valid driver’s license

Must pass drug test and background check screening

Welding skills, basic knowledge of electrical systems, and prior field service experience preferred.

Sales Representative (Base Salary + Uncapped Commission) – Philadelphia, PA
Stokes Equipment Company has grown to be the largest distributor of loading dock equipment, industrial doors and hydraulic lift equipment in Southern Pennsylvania, South and Central New Jersey, Delaware and Northern Maryland. To continue our growth in 2018, we have several openings for industrial sales representatives in the PA, NJ, DE, and MD area.

Due to extensive growth, we are seeking a Sales Representative Trainees throughout our territory which includes Southern Pennsylvania, South and Central New Jersey, Delaware, and Northern Maryland. Before the candidate would start with Stokes Equipment Company, a three-month training course would take place in Milwaukee, WI. Housing would be provided during the training program as well as product training, classroom training, and territory and account management skills. After the training segment in Milwaukee, the candidate will get 2-3 months of field training before/after the program is complete, both hands-on with the product and veteran sales professionals, our district sales manager, and others.

After completion of the training program, you would become a full-time sales representative. You would be responsible for building our current customer base and focusing on the sale of planned maintenance contracts along with professional service, quality parts and aftermarket products while obtaining/maintaining maximum market share.

This position is responsible for selling all of Rite-Hite’s capital equipment lines as well as our Allied Vendors with an emphasis on the new equipment and service-based markets. The territory will be somewhere within the PA, NJ, DE, and MD area. Our customer base includes anyone with a loading dock, with emphasis on Fortune 500 manufacturers and distribution centers. This is an outside sales position, with responsibility for growing existing accounts, prospecting and securing new customers, and introducing new products and services to the marketplace.
